Opera på Skäret, Kopparberg Sweden
In the summer of 2023, Opera på Skäret will celebrate its 20th anniversary. We will be marking the occasion with Verdi’s most dramatic piece.
Sandra Wettergren will sing the role “Paggio” and participate in the choir.
The plot is rich with dark elements: jealousy, revenge, an honor killing and corruption.
The music offers a series of immortal arias: La donna é mobile. Caro nome. Cortigiano, vil razza dannata.
Performance period: July 29 – August 27.
